Our law offices have legal experts and support staff well-versed in all types of personal bankruptcy and business bankruptcy situations including Chapter 7 & Chapter 13 bankruptcy regulations for individuals and Chapter 7 & 11 bankruptcy regulations for businesses.
Chapter 7 Individual Bankruptcy
Filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy is appealing for many individuals with crippling debts because there exists the distinct possibility that they may get to keep what they own – their house, automobile, furniture among other things. They may also benefit from other debt relief and be able to get out of most types of unsecured debt, which includes credit cards, medical bills, judgments, garnishments, and some types of taxes.
Chapter 13 Individual Bankruptcy
Similar to the Chapter 7 scenario described above, most Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases for individuals usually result in that individual being able to keep their house and possessions. Chapter 13 bankruptcy ordinarily relates to people who have fallen behind in their mortgage payments.
Chapter 7 Business Bankruptcy
When faced with enforced closure of their business due to bad times, filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy is the only solution for business-proprietors who face creditors and are obliged to service their financial obligations. A Company Chapter Seven allows a company owner to proceed with their lives by stopping creditor harassment, lowering the potential of future lawsuit and ordinarily results in business owner having the ability to pursue other possibilities.
Chapter 11 Business Bankruptcy
Chapter 11 bankruptcy is the path some business-entrepreneurs like to think about taking if they wish to make an attempt to stay in business because the court supervises the re-organization in the company’s contractual debt obligations. A legal court can grant complete or partial rest from most of the company’s obligations and its’ contracts, to make sure that the business can pursue a brand new beginning.

Burbank, Cook County, IL 60459
The Burbank area of Illinois began life as a farming district in the 1850s and saw further growth when German and Dutch farmers settled here in the 20 years that followed. Burbank was further developed in the 1920s by real estate entrepreneurs, although this was hampered by poor roads, and inadequate water and sewer systems.
But that all changed dramatically in 1952 with the creation of the South Stickney Sanitation District that saw a massive improvement in works and led to substantial growth and development of the now thriving community of mixed nationalities (European, Asian and South American) with the population tripling to 21,000 by 1960. There are some 28,000 residents in Burbank with employment mainly in the construction, manufacturing, healthcare and retail trades.
Named after the famous horticulturist Luther Burbank in 1970 when the town became “incorporated” into Illinois, Burbank is the one of the youngest communities in Cook County bordered by Chicago on the east, Oak Lawn on the south, Bridgeview on the west and Bedford park to the north. The name was actually culled from the Luther Burbank Elementary School.
Thomas W. Lynch & Associates also provide services to clients in nearby Bridgeview and Oak Lawn.
