	Thomas W. Lynch is the lead attorney and served as an IRS agent for 7 years beginning in 1979.  Lynch later served as an assistant for five years to the Illinois Attorney General.  Having graduated in 1986 from the John Marshall Law School, Lynch proudly has 20 years of law practice experience.  Lynch is considered to be one of the top attorneys in tax, debt, and real estate cases in Illinois and focuses extensively on tax and bankruptcy litigation as well as representing clients in criminal cases.
	Attorney of Counsel to the firm, Robert W. Maucker worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. Having graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a degree in International Relations, Mr. Maucker is very knowledgeable in business.  After numerous years of working in the business field, Mr. Maucker later graduated from DePaul University College of Law and began his law practice in 1998.   Mr. Maucker represents clients in both federal and state courts and assists clients in preparation of wills and trusts.
	Martin Doorhy, a former government prosecutor, is also an asset to the practice.  Having served as the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General, he also is a former DePaul University professor, teaching courses in Constitutional Law.  Mr. Doorhy first worked as a law clerk in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and joined The Law Office of Thomas W. Schimanski is well versed in laws regarding the areas of tax enforcement, collection, assessment, and tax compliance regulations.  Schimanski has extensive experience in investigations of criminals and tax examinations, and upon leaving the IRS he chose to attend Chicago-Kent College of Law obtaining a Juris Doctorate Degree and an advanced degree in tax law in 1999.  With an extensive background in financial litigation cases, Mr. Schimanski joined the firm in 2006.
	Attorney Michael Martin-Johnston began his law career as a paralegal in a private law firm.  Since his start, he has worked alongside the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, the United States Department of Energy, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. About La Grange, IL

The village of La Grange was occupied originally by settler Robert Leitch who came to the area in 1830.  Settlers were looking to move westward out of the city of Chicago and found that this area was suitable for all of their needs.  The village was officially incorporated in 1879 founded by Franklin Dwight Cossitt, a successful businessman in wholesale grocery. Originally named Kensington, Cossitt built a quaint, little saloon town that became more widely populated after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.

In 1979, the Village of La Grange Historic District was included on the National Register of Historic Places with a rich architectural history.  For many years, the Historic District was a busy shopping destination outside of the city. Within this community, residents can shop, operate businesses, enjoy movies at the local theatre, or peruse the local library as well as savor a nice meal all within walking distance.  Many of the buildings and residences date back to well into the 1890s.

As of the most recent census, La Grange now has a residency of just over 15,000 people.  Located in Cook County, this area provides easy access to western Chicago, a mere 13 miles away.  The area has several operating businesses, a nearby zoo in Brookfield, and several other nearby attractions that keep residents as well as visitors busy and entertained.
