Attorney Noreen Lennon

Attorney Noreen C. Lennon brings a broad professional background to her work. Noreen’s expertise in legal research and writing allows her to effectively advocate for her clients. Central to her professional approach is a deep empathy and concern for each client.

A graduate of The Catholic University of America (B.A., History, 1992), Noreen completed a year as a social services advocate in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps: NW, followed by three years on staff in the Admissions Office at Seattle University. Noreen attended Creighton University School of Law where she was selected for the Creighton Law Review, serving as a Student Articles Editor in her third year. She also worked as a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Nebraska in her second and third years. Upon graduation from Creighton in 1999, Noreen received the Warren C. Schrempp and George F. Barton Award, recognized by her peers “for exhibiting the most drive, spirit and compassion.” While at Creighton, she also won the Corpus Juris Secundum/American Jurisprudence Award, for the highest score in Torts I.

Sworn into the Illinois Bar in November 1999, Noreen served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Philip L. Bronstein (Ret.) in the Circuit Court of Cook County from 2000 to 2004. Working in the busy Motions Section of the Law Division, Noreen researched a wide array of procedural and legal issues and produced advisory opinions on a daily basis for Judge Bronstein.

After her tenure as a judicial law clerk, Noreen moved into private practice as an Associate with the then-existing firm of Dolan & Shannon, P.C., a litigation practice focused on catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice as well as insurance bad-faith. She was later associated with a successor firm, Dolan Law, P.C., providing legal research and writing support services. Since 2008, Noreen has been Of Counsel with the law firm of Michael D. Walsh, P.C., a general practice law firm. She utilizes her strong research and writing skills in the preparation of pleadings on the litigation side while also preparing Domestic Relations Orders for the firm’s divorce clients.

Noreen joined The Law Offices of Thomas W. Lynch, P.C. in 2018. She is involved in the firm’s civil litigation practice, and she also assists clients with consumer debt-related matters and foreclosure defense.

Noreen is married to Donal Hegarty, a native of County Donegal, Ireland, and they reside in Oak Lawn. She is an active member of the board of Chicago Gaelic Park, and she currently serves as its Co-Assistant Treasurer.
