People with serious debt are encouraged to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy because it gives them the potential to keep their most treasured possessions (house, automobile, furniture among other things). Chapter 7 also offers the chance to get out of most types of unsecured debt, including credit cards, medical bills, judgments, garnishments, and some types of taxes.

Chapter 13 Individual Bankruptcy

This form of bankruptcy usually relates to people with mortgage debt, but Chapter 13 bankruptcy can also be beneficial for individuals because, like Chapter 7, they may be able to keep their house and possessions.

Chapter 7 Business Bankruptcy

A Company Chapter Seven (Chapter 7 bankruptcy) provides people facing business bankruptcy with the chance to avoid creditor harassment. Chapter 11 Business Bankruptcy

It can be heartbreaking when a family business or old established firm has to close because it can no longer run at a healthy profit. However, Chapter 11 bankruptcy is the route many business-entrepreneurs like to consider if they want to stay in business because the court can authorize the re-organization in the company’s contractual debt obligations.
Believe it or not, but a legal court can grant complete or partial rest from most of the company’s obligations and its’ contracts, to make sure that the business can pursue a brand new start.

About Justice

Described as a “bedroom community” when it first began to develop as an incorporated settlement in 1911, the village of Justice in southwest Cook County, is now home to roughly 12,500 residents. Located southwest of the Chicago Loop, Justice began life along Archer Avenue, a one-time Indian trail and one of the oldest roads in Cook County. It is bordered by the Illinois & Michigan Canal to the northwest which was established in 1835 with the Irish and German workers becoming the first real settlers in Justice.

The village is defined by the two large cemeteries, picnic groves, and taverns which the people from Chicago used to visit in droves in the late 19th century/early 20th and which sparked huge economic growth for Justice with the formation of three monument firms. A growing, evolving town, Justice is enjoying a 3% development rate with the construction of 500 new townhomes completed and further construction under way. The motto of Justice, “Family, Business, and Community Friendly” couldn’t be more appropriate as the town features some 172 small businesses.
