Last week, Earl Gaudio & Son Inc. filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the bankruptcy code seeking to restructure the finances of the company. This comes after a County Circuit Court judge approved a sale of the company to a Decatur-based Anheuser-Busch distributor. The matter had reached the circuit court because of a motion filed with the court by one of the shareholders asking the court to remove the current Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
