Internet sales tax vote

This week, legislation will go before the Senate for a vote to determine if states will be allowed to charge sales tax on internet purchases. The law will apply only to businesses that have online sales over $1 million in a state where the business does not have physical operations. Purchasers will bear the brunt of the added sales tax when shopping online.
