Railway files bankruptcy in US and Canada

The owner of the runaway train that killed 47 people in Canada has filed for bankruptcy relief in both Canada and the United States after pressure to pay for the costs of the cleanup from the tragic accident. To date, over $7 million has been spent by the municipality where the accident occurred to clean up the oil that spilled during the crash. More costs and lawsuits are expected to be incurred by the company who said that revenues fell sharply after the derailment.
