Versace Mansion being sold in bankruptcy auction

The home of famous fashion designer Gianni Versace, where he was murdered in 1997, is going on the auction block in bankruptcy court. The owner filed for bankruptcy relief as the lender was eyeing the property for a foreclosure sale. The bankruptcy filing stayed any foreclosure proceedings; however, now the home is scheduled to be sold in a bankruptcy auction to be held in September. Legal complications have plagued the mansion for many years.
